Implementation of the earthworks at Tóalja

In July 2002 the earthwork of the Clay-pit restoration has been done. This means on the model area that several dozens of clay-pits has been linked through a controlled channel in order to serve a natural spawning ground for the Tisza fish community. At the floodplain site called Tóalj more than 4000 meters long channel is serving the water management and the controlled water retention. This work finished by the end of spring 2003 and more than 12.000 m 3 earthwork has been done.
